We are excited to have announced that PISACON2020 will be at Oregon State University (OSU) on March 6th & 7th. Registration has opened! We are expecting around 125 students at this years conference and are hoping that our work will continue to grow and foster Pacific Islander student activism, leadership, and identity.
PISACON2020 will take place (mostly) in the Memorial Union (MU) Building: 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97331, the Asian Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) and the Native American Longhouse Eena Haws (NAL). They will be fairly easy to find, but we will have student staff helping navigate students to workshop sessions throughout the conference.
Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Mary’s River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon (https://www.grandronde.org) and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (https://ctsi.nsn.us)

Registration is not guaranteed through this registration form, for liability and safety reasons, we have our own process to make sure our students have housing, transportation, and their basic means met before allowing them to participate. After filling out this form, we will contact the individual and school (or professional staff rep) about your participation and support. For further questions, please contact us at NWPISA@gmail.com
Registration cost and payment:
$35 for PISA members early registration, $50 for on-sight payment.
$100 for Non-PISA member, $125 for on-sight payment.
Invoices will be given to each group or individual. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT GROUPS PAY IN ONE LARGE ORDER for this will help us simplify the invoice process. We will have a square account up to help with payments and are willing to take checks.
All checks will be made out to the:
Samoa Pacific Development Corporation 4320 N. Willis Blvd Portland, OR 97203
for PISA Registration and all funds and profits will go to PISA’s usage in support for our ability to gather, train, and honor our collective work through the year.
Housing is the responsibility of each registrant and campus to ensure you/your student has a place to stay. We will be posting hotel options and encourage large groups to think about Air BnB as an option.
There will be plenty of food at PISACON. In the past, we have had plenty of left overs for everyone to eat as much as they want. Come on yall, it’s an islander conference and you’ll have enough to eat throughout the day. Food options and snacks will be available for those who specify their needs in the registration form.
